A Country Wedding

My sister's wedding was yesterday! After a year of planning and weeks of putting plan into action, the day finally arrived. It was a country wedding, with the ceremony at my uncle's barn; a barn that has been in the family for 40 years. The silo was the backdrop for the arbor, remnants of the old barn on the far left, and the cornfield in the background. It was warm and sunny, but the ceremony was very short and sweet!

After the ceremony, we went 1/4 mile down the road to our parent's house where a large tent was decorated with lots of lights, vintage tableclothes, and lots of DIY accents. Everything went smoothly, everyone had fun, and all the food was eaten!!

Photos are slowly showing up on Facebook (see tent city below!) and I think the photog got some great shots. I can't wait to see them!

I love this! Many of the bride and groom's friends set up "tent city" behind the house. Lots of people were able to drink, relax, and not worry about driving!

* Update on the "The Big Empty Wall."  It's still empty.

** Ready for a hair update? I had 4 inches of old color cut and damage off. I'll post photos soon!
