10 MONTHS COLOR-FREE HAIR
This is me, 10 months after my last session of highlights! In the last post about my hair, (5 Reasons I Stopped Coloring My Hair) I was debating on cutting it up to my shoulders to get rid of more color. As you can see, I did that. It has grown a bit and I'd like it to grow another 1-2 inches before I go for another trim.
To be honest, I don't think about my hair much. The different colors don't bother me, except for the occasional glance in a mirror of a yellow ponytail and white bangs. It blends better when it's down, whether styled straight or wavy.
So What Does Color-Free Hair Look Like? It's different for everyone. For me it's white, dark brown, and gray. Some copper.
How much longer do I have until it's all gone? I think about a year. The underneath short layers in back are completely grown. Just waiting on the rest of it. Judging by the photos, it looks to be 1/2 way there!
Most of the time, I wear by bangs back. You can see the growth and in bright daylight, the white really stands out.
Until my next hair update, let me know if you are also growing out your color, how it's going, or if you'll never give up the bottle!
